DOCUMENT 01 / ONMAX
A direct explanation of what OnMax processes, what stays on your device, and what happens when you connect to remote media.
Effective October 10, 2026 / Version 1.1
OnMax is a media playback application. It lets you open and play media stored on your device or accessed through a remote media address. This policy applies to the OnMax app and support services linked from it.
Core playback features may use local file locations, playlists, playback position, playback history, preferences, and app settings. This information may remain on your device. OnMax does not upload your local media files to us simply because you open or play them.
If you open a remote media address, your device connects to the host providing that media. The host may receive your IP address, device or browser user agent, request time, and the media address requested. That activity is governed by the host's own privacy policy and terms.
If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you choose to send. We may also receive limited technical diagnostics, such as app version, operating system, device model, and crash details, when provided through your device or support request. We use this information to answer you, investigate problems, and improve reliability.
We use information to provide playback features, save preferences, respond to support requests, investigate crashes, protect the service, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use local media content for advertising or sell local media files.
In short: opening local media does not upload it to us. Remote playback connects your device to the media host.
OnMax may rely on Apple platform services, app distribution services, hosting providers, email providers, or crash diagnostics providers. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and under their own terms and privacy policies.
Local playback history, playlists, and settings can be removed through OnMax when controls are available, or by deleting the app and its stored data. Support messages and technical records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, disputes, or legal requirements.
You may request access to or deletion of personal information that OnMax controls by emailing [email protected]. OnMax is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy when OnMax or its data practices change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
DOCUMENT 02 / ONMAX
The practical rules for using OnMax, playing media, and connecting to sources you choose.
Effective October 10, 2026 / Version 1.1
By downloading, installing, or using OnMax, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use OnMax for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use OnMax on Apple devices that you own or control. This permission is for lawful use and does not transfer ownership of the app or its branding.
You keep ownership of media you own. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to access, play, stream, download, or display media through OnMax. You are also responsible for remote sources, your network, your device, and your backups.
OnMax does not grant permission to use third-party media and does not verify that every remote source is accurate, available, lawful, or authorised.
You may not use OnMax to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, interfere with the app or its security, bypass access controls, or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
OnMax may work with Apple services and third-party media sources. Those services are controlled by their providers and may have separate terms, privacy policies, availability, and content. OnMax, including its software, visual design, name, logo, and documentation, is owned by OnMax or its licensors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnMax is provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every format or source, or that the app will always be error-free. Keep independent copies of important media and data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnMax and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the app.
You may stop using OnMax at any time. We may update these terms as the app changes. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
